The fashion house founded by Fernanda Gattinoni created its first elegant and sober dress for the actress Clara Calamai in 1945. It soon becomes the favorite atelier for celebrities such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Kim Novak, Ingrid Bergman, Anna Magnani and Audrey Hepburn. In the 1980s, Fernanda, her son Raniero and Stefano Dominella, the present Chiarman, revolutionized the image of the label. At the heart of this process was the arrival in 1989 of the young and talented Venezuelan, Guillermo Mariotto, today the Creative Director of the Maison. His flair and creativity merge with the good taste and elegance that have always been the style embodied by Gattinoni. Since then, everything, from Prêt à Porter to sportswear, from knitwear and leather to fragrance and accessories, has borne the unmistakable mark of his style.
